Navigation Clock is a navigation app designed for sailing but useful for many navigation situations. The single display shows your current location and a selected destination and the navigation information between the two.

The course is calculated as the great circle so is the shortest distance between current location and destination. The color of the display changes to show whether you are on course.

Course or Bearing is displayed as rotating pointer relative to the destination which is a fixed target at the top of the display. When moving, the course information is accurate regardless of the orientation of your iPhone or iPad. Since the location is fixed on the display there is no rotation of the phone to square it with your direction of travel. If you are stopped then you rotate the device to get a bearing, once moving rotating the device does not change the display. Sit anywhere on the boat in any orientation and see if you are on course.

Add new location by entering latitude and longitude. Store with a name and then access later as a picker wheel list.

The local time for sunrise and sunset calculated based upon your latitude and longitude are displayed on a 24 hour clock that also serves as heading compass.
